    Meet Our Team

    President & CEO

    Percy Pierre

    Percy has been a business owner for much of his career. He built and sold two businesses: a wholesale food product company; and a marketing consultancy. As a result of this experience, Percy has a deep knowledge of tax efficient extraction of capital, succession planning, and business owner risk management. With this knowledge in hand, Percy transitioned to an advisory practice helping other business owners address the complexities of packing up or selling their businesses, as well as many other areas of finance and tax that his clients avail themselves of. He understands how managing a business or multiple businesses can be very time intensive and how, for a business owner, this is where they drive the most value for their enterprises. Percy believes thoroughly that when not driving their respective ships, his clients should have time for family and friends. This is why so many turn to him to manage the smaller details so that they have time for the things that matter most. Percy is a supporter of and repeat donor to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation. When he is not working or supporting his preferred charities, he enjoys golfing and travelling with family.

    Real Estate Portfolio Manager

    Daniel Carroll

    Daniel started his career in international trade and foreign direct investment representing Canadian, American, and European companies in Chile, Argentina, and Brazil. When his president and mentor died suddenly, Daniel picked up the mantle and continued to service the clients and develop their interests abroad and in that developed a strong consultancy representing companies in several countries with business interests all over the world. He later sold this business and shifted his focus to personal finance helping other business owners plan for disposing of assets and enjoying the fruits of their efforts. Daniel also dedicates his time, a significant portion of which is pro-bono, to helping survivors of tragic losses manage the proceeds of personal injury and medical malpractice settlements as well as estates from lost loved ones. Daniel has a passion for the wellbeing of his clients and takes their needs to heart. When not in the office, on the ski hills, or on the tennis court, Daniel enjoys taking his kids into the backcountry to teach them canoeing and survival skills. He also leads a Cub Scout Pack and believes strongly in giving back to the organizations that helped develop his leadership skills. He is a dedicated father, husband, and Scouter. 

    Private Wealth Specialist

    Maria Campanella Kabak

    Maria has a fine eye for detail which was developed and honed in a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics, and a masters degree in Pure Mathematics. Maria wrote her thesis on finding the most efficient solution to problems. This translates very well to her career in risk and wealth management. 

    She has several years of experience in helping business owners and professionals find optimal solutions for tax as well as wealth and asset transfer. 

    When not solving complex financial issues, Maria continues her pursuit of a black belt in Aikido. She also enjoys spending time with family and traveling with her husband.

    Janis Bellman

    Janis Bellman is a dedicated and experienced CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) professional with a passion for helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals and security. With an extensive background in the financial industry, Janis possesses a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges clients face in today’s ever-changing economic landscape. Over the years, Janis has developed a particular expertise in SUDDEN WEALTH MANAGEMENT™. She has helped many clients learn to be good stewards of large insurance and divorce settlements, estates, and lottery winnings.

    Throughout her career, Janis has developed a reputation for her strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and comprehensive knowledge of investment strategies, retirement planning, tax optimization, and risk management. She keeps abreast of the latest industry trends and regulations, allowing her to provide up-to-date and informed advice to her clients.

    Securities Specialist

    Sean MacDonald

    Sean brings a wealth of knowledge to our clients, particularly in securities management and analysis. He provides immeasurable value when it comes to helping clients transition their wealth from being retirement focused to being tax-efficient in estate strategies. In addition, he helps business owners examine their financial statements to help them prepare for succession or sale. In the family office environment, Sean is often called upon to find ways to optimize business assets.

    Senior Business Management Advisor

    Lisa Bechard

    Lisa has over 20 years experience in the corporate finance world including 10 years in the financial services, IT and Telco industries. She also founded, built, and sold two companies before moving into advisor services.

    Throughout her career, Lisa has realized that one of the most difficult, and yet necessary, tasks that mature companies must address is occasionally undergoing significant change and restructuring. Having been a part of teams involved in this, Lisa has seen corporate leaders do it right and do it wrong. Her experience in these rollovers has equipped her with the skills and knowledge to become one of Ontario’s premier consultants in this area.
